Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO)
POGO was founded in 1983 by a group of pediatric oncologists to champion childhood cancer care and control. As the representative voice of the childhood cancer community, POGO works to ensure that all of Ontarios children have equal access to state-of-the-art diagnosis, treatment, and required ancillary services. We also aim to make certain that Ontarios children have the greatest prospects for survival and an optimal quality of life.
POGO frequently consults to other countries, states, and provinces around the world to assist those jurisdictions in developing state-of-the-art models of care and control for children with cancer, their families, and childhood cancer survivors.
Research facilitated and conducted by POGO can benefit those afflicted with childhood cancer around the world.
